Because of a long winter there is a lot of snow to melt - the river is cold and the waterlevel is high in May. Slowly the level and temperature stabelize and Mayflies ( Ephemeroptera ) start to hatch in huges numbers - a fly fischer`s paradise.
Now is the right time to attack. The last week of June and the first of July is the best time of the season for fly fishing.
